One window closes and another opens. And I’m ready to climb through.
Change is not always easy, but facing challenging situations, and succeeding, makes it all the more rewarding.
Take the recent turn of events with my business: After two years—and countless hours of supremely hard work—we are closing our doors on Sunday.
Some may be surprised I’m not sad.
I worked my tooshie off to make our venture successful. And it was successful in bringing together wildly talented and creative people with the happy goal of documenting life stories, testing new technologies, and trying fresh ideas. However, the stars did not align or the timing was off or it lasted as long as needed to last. Whatever the underlying reason, it has come to an end.
I treasure every moment I spent with my forever friends and am extremely proud of what we accomplished. Those memories and experiences are tucked away in the secret-lock of my heart.
One word, one sentence, one paragraph at a time. Each to be savored and celebrated—and fill my soul with joy.
